Buck Spring Regional Leadership Excellence Center
The Warren County Government and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service preserves Buck Spring Plantation, the Nathaniel Macon home site. The property is being developed into a regional leadership center that will feature the reconstructed home, original smokehouse and corncrib, the Macon gravesite and other sites of interest. Buck Spring Plantation is open to the public year round during daylight hours. Contact the Warren County Extension office or Creative Campaign Consultants (www.c3online.org) for more information.

Norlina Train Museum
The Norlina Museum collects, preserves and exhibits the history of Norlina, Warren County and the Seaboard Airline Railroad. One highlight of the museum is the Francis Edgerton Collection of railroad schedules, photographs and memorabilia. While the museum places special emphasizes the history of the railroad, photographs and histories of local businesses, churches and historic properties are also on display.

Norlina Public Library
The Norlina Public library makes available to the public materials to support lifelong learning. Children's, Young Adult, Fiction and General Reference materials can be found in the library's collection. A small, non-circulating collection on local history and North Carolina is a highlight of the collection. The library also maintains a small rare and antique book collection for use in the library only. The Norlina Library has the only UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and Extraterrestrial Collection material in North Carolina. The collection was donated by Ufologist, Robert Hair of Eden, NC. The Library is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Warren County Memorial Library
The library has a collection of local history materials including numerous local family Bible records. In addition to the manuscripts, there are many artifacts and paintings including folk art by Ruth Russsell Williams, a rocking chair that belonged to James Turner, governor of North Carolina from 1802-1805 and a Civil War era chest belonging to Captain John White.

Jacob Holt House
The house, built in 1855, was the home of architect and builder Jacob Holt. This restored home is used as a visitor reception center for the town and county and is also used to host special functions. The house is open for guided tours by appontment.

Cherry Hill Historical Foundation
Cherry Hill Plantation

Located on 500 acres of original plantation land in the community of Inez, the plantation house was built by Warrenton builder James Waddell, long affiliated with Jacob Holt, in 1858 and was originally owned by the Alston family. The home is used for a concert series and is open for tours by appointment.
