Pamlico County Historical Association Museum
The Pamlico County Historical Association collects, preserves, and interprets the history and cultural of Pamlico County. Located in the former Register of Deeds office, the association's museum displays archaeology artifacts, manuscripts and genealogy material collected by the association. Also available at the museum are the association's research and publications.

Pamlico County Community College Learning Resources Center
The Learning Resources Center supports the educational programs at the Pamlico County Community College. To enhance the learning process, the library also collects materials on Black History and North Carolina history. The Learning Resources Center also maintains a file of maps, pamphlets and booklets on North Carolina and Pamlico County.

Pamlico County Library (Carteret Pamlico Craven Regional Library System)
Pamlico County Public Library collects and maintains books and genealogy materials on or relating to Pamlico County and North Carolina. The library also makes available CD-ROM databases for extended research. In addition, the library also maintains scrapbooks documenting its own history and, on occasion, will accept small manuscript collections.
