Museum of the Cherokee Indian
The mission of the Museum of the Cherokee Indian is "To perpetuate the history, culture, and stories of the Cherokee people." The museum maintains a permanent exhibit, an extensive artifact collection, and an archives; it conducts educational programs and has an artist series and a gift shop. The museum also publishes the Journal of Cherokee Studies.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park Mountain Farm Museum
The Mountain Farm Museum contains a fascinating collection of log structures including a farmhouse, barn, smokehouse, applehouse, corncribs, springhouse, and more. The grounds surrounding the structures are farmed in the crops and methods of the early 1900's of the region. This outdoor museum seeks to educate visitors about turn of the century farm life in the southern Appalachians, and through tours and seasonal demonstrations of farm life activities offer a glimpse into the past and an appreciation of the rural heritage of this region of the country.

Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual, Inc.
Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual, Inc., is primarily responsible for keeping alive the arts and crafts of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians - woodcarving, basketry, finger weaving, beadwork, and pottery. This cooperative, founded in the 1930's and chartered in 1946, houses and exhibits a large permanent collection of pieces made by its members through the years.

Smoky Mountain Trains
The mission of the Smoky Mountain Trains Scenic Model Railroad Museum is to share the spirit of model railroading with individuals of all ages. The museum is ranked as one of the top ten Lionel train museums in the nation. There is a scale train layout where over 450 Lionel trains are operating. The layout includes approximately one mile of track and over 60 scratched built buildings as well as a number of animated scenes. There are over 4,000 Lionel trains on display at the museum dating from 1918 to the present.
