Aluminum Tree and Aesthetically Challenged Seasonal Ornament Museum and Research Center
ATOM is the acronym for the Aluminum Tree and Aesthethically Challenged Seasonal Ornament Museum & Research Center. Established in Brevard, North Carolina in 1997, ATOM is the world's only Museum dedicated to the preservation and public display of vintage aluminum trees. ATOM is also an apt name for this Museum, since the trees were produced during the "atomic age" of the mid-20th century.
