The museum at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park is located near the northern end of the cliffs. Creative dioramas and audio-visuals depict the geology and the natural history of the area. The museum seeks to educate visitors to the park about the natural diversity and history of the cliffs and Neuse River and to encourage good stewardship of these and the rest of North Carolina's natural resources.
