Exterior side view of the Alamance County Historical Museum. The museum is primarily a house museum interpreting this house, Oak Grove, built originally by Michael Holt in 1790 and expanded in 1800. E. M. Holt, son of Michael Holt and founder of the famous Holt Mills lived here with his family until 1849.

A table built by Thomas Day that belonged to the Holt Family. Many of the pieces displayed throughout the house are original to the Holts.

Holt dining room table and chairs with original china hand painted by Mary Katherine Holt in 1872 and fired by the William Lycette Company in Atlanta. Table is also set with the Holt Family sterling by Tiffany.
