Bladenboro School, 1917-1991.

A display of Wayne Dewitt Kennedy's publications and books. Kennedy is a native of Bladenboro.

The large meeting room at the museum is used for both museum, historical society, and community functions.

One room in the school building has been preserved and is interpreted as a typical classroom of the 1950's.

One of the main features of the Bladenboro Museum is its rotating local art exhibit.

Another main gallery is reserved for local crafts.

Bladenboro has many talented artisans and craftspeople who display their works at the museum.

Many of the crafts displayed are models of typical agricultural processes once prevalent in and around Bladenboro.

The genealogy research room at the Bladenboro Museum houses both published and unpublished resources as well as a great number of photographs from the area.
